the location turned out to be particularly good and excellant, near the ocean and good restaurants and a supermarket and laundromat and the harbor. the staff where fabulously friendly and had a sense of humour. i had different food for breakfast with healthy options.

The apartment had a small balcony, perfect for enjoying the close-up view of seagulls. It was big and comfy. The manager was helpful and understanding, providing a map and suggesting things to do while our room was being prepared. When they saw our daughter wasn't feeling well, they quickly arranged a room for us. The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was included. The location was within walking distance of the port, with plenty of shops and restaurants on the way. Vegetarian and vegan-friendly amenities were available.

Felt extremely welcome, no complaints at all.

The whole room was good modern and had central heating, multi-channel television and a writing desk. We got a tub too.

The location was peaceful and favourable, very close to a restaurant, centre of A Guarda and city center. Furthermore, on foot from the ferry. We booked a clean room with a good breakfast, everything was great!

There were some aspects that made our experience less enjoyable. The noise from outside, especially late at night, was quite disruptive and made it difficult to sleep.

The breakfast at the hotel was great, with a good variety of local foods available. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of the harbor where we found some excellent restaurants. our stay at Hotel Vila Da Guarda was enjoyable and memorable.

We had an amazing stay at Vila Da Guarda! Even though there was a language barrier, the hotel representative went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She provided us with a great map for exploring the town and recommended climbing the nearby mountain. The hotel also suggested a fantastic local restaurant with excellent food at a great value, which was packed with locals. The staff made us feel like family, and the courtyard where we enjoyed complimentary wine and snacks was lovely. The room and bathroom were spacious, modern, and clean, and the location was convenient.

As a group of friends, we loved the friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to assist us. The unique decor and comfortable Murphy-style bunk beds added a fun touch to our stay. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to the bus and a short walk to the port. We also appreciated the towel warming rack in the bathroom, perfect for drying our clothes after a day of exploring.

We felt completely happy with our stay, with nothing to complain about.
